WELCOME ABOARD PACKETS
NSCC Recruit Training
All NSCC Advanced Trainings (rev. 11/15/16)
Welcome Aboard Packet gives general information.
Individual Trainings will also send you a briefing letter once your orders are approved
STEP #1
At your local unit, fill out a REQUEST FOR TRAINING
AUTHORITY.  Your parent(s) must sign this form.  It will be
uploaded to MAGELLAN. (do not mail in).
Cadet Order Request (NSCTNG001 - rev. 3/14)
Adult Order Request (NSCTNG002 - rev. 3/14)
STEP #2
Unit will REQUEST a billet for a cadet or staff the via the
MAGELLAN system.  Unit staff are the only ones who can do this.

Once the billet has been requested, have parent complete this
form and provide important medical/travel information.  Base
Access must be completed for anyone 18 years or older.  All
registrations are on a first-come, first-serve basis if a cadet
meets all the training per-requisites.

A registration IS NOT CONFIRMED until a request is received via
MAGELLAN (unit responsibility) AND a payment & supplemental
registration form is received (parent responsibility).  All spaces
are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Step #4
Parent or Unit clicks here (new window will open) to
make a payment for training with a credit card.  Be sure
to list the cadet's name/unit name on the check-out
screen in the "notes to seller" so we can credit to their
record.

Airport Shuttle Service is available for $30.00/each way
note: we will make the shuttle arrangements from the USO to Camp Pendleton -- more
information in the Welcome Aboard Packet and by clicking the "Traveler Information Sheet"
link above.  You can always add or remove shuttle service at anytime.

SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION -- NO BILLET IS APPROVED
EVEN WITH FEES PAID UNLESS:

1.  All pre-requisites are met.
2.  A Supplemental Registration Form & Base Access
Form is completed; all fees are paid (Step #3 and #4).
3.  Any Health Supplemental or Accommodations forms
(if necessary) have been submitted
3. You receive an email from the MAGELLAN SYSTEM
that your registration is approved.

For Camp Pendleton Trainings
Please plan to arrive into SAN DIEGO AIRPORT (or OCEANSIDE TRAIN OR BUS STATION) on Dec. 26th
-- the day BEFORE training begins.  Shuttle services will be available to and from the training site for
$30/each way  On graduation day, please schedule your return flight/train/bus NO EARLIER than
3:00 PM if possible.  Since we know airlines schedules vary, we will work with your schedule.
STEP #3 AND #4 MUST BOTH BE COMPLETED
IN ORDER TO CONFIRM A REQUEST PUT INTO MAGELLAN

***A MAGELLAN request
will not be confirmed until these
steps are completed.
 Billets are filled on a first-come, first
serve basis when the entire registration process (all 4 steps)
have been completed***
